Skills Strong interpersonal skills are essential for productive organizational culture, leadership and team performance. In this course, Students will engage in self-exploration to understand their own interpersonal communication patterns, analyze their impact and apply skills that increase their ability to collaborate with others. Skills in listening and empathy, perception-checking, reducing defensiveness, addressing conflict, leveraging non- verbal communication and giving and receiving feedback.

This course is a comprehensive introduction course on the fundamentals financial planning. A review of the financial planning process and regulatory practices in the field of financial planning will be completed. Additionally, techniques of personal sector cash flow, asset and liability management, life cycle financial planning, investment management, tax planning, and retirement and estate planning.

Financial Planning II builds on the practical knowledge base of a financial planner learned in Financial Planning I. The course will provide you with advanced knowledge of important financial planning strategies. Building on the techniques learned in Financial Planning I, you will apply financial planning concepts and knowledge to determine the appropriate strategy for clients based on the collection and analysis of client information.

This course describes the financial planning process and professional, ethical and regulatory compliance requirements in the client-adviser relationship. Keys to successful financial planning: Cash flow and budgeting in the creation of personal wealth; income and capital gains tax considerations for personal investment and financing; investment structuring and tax planning strategies for personal investment and financing; social security benefits, and their role in the financial planning process.

This course teaches students about the Financial Planning Practices of the CFP profession. It will prepare students for specific technical knowledge and professional skills. Students will learn the key aspects of analysis from each of the six planning areas, and develop an appreciation of the FPC stringent requirements of the CFP professional as it relates to ethical principles and professional standards.

This course looks at the ethical challenges and professional conduct requirements that affect business professionals, with a focus on financial planners. Students investigate the ethical and evaluative challenges that arise in the corporate world. They look at how ethics plays a role in a number of business contexts and functions. Individual and international ethical disparities, corporate social responsibility, rights and legislation, and ethical issues involving shareholders, employers, suppliers, competitors, and consumers are among the topics covered.

Goal-setting in the context of reaching financial stability through government pensions, registered pensions, and other savings is examined in retirement, wills and estate planning. Wills, trusts, and charitable gifts are all used in estate planning to ensure that assets are distributed in a tax-efficient manner. Individuals interested in financial planning will benefit from Retirement, Wills and Estate Planning.
