Program Description

Our Business Administration program prepares students in essential business concepts, analytical tools, and the management techinques required to be sucessful within the modern business settings.

Through this program, students will learn skills from various business positions such as clerical duties, data entry, Microsoft Office, business communications and much more. The combination of various skills will provide the students with a firm foundation on the daily operations in a business environment. This program will help students develop the entrepreneurial mindset needed to carry out business administrative duties efficiently in any office setting. Additionally, the students will have the oppertunity to apply their skills in the real-world environment through our mandetory practicum placement.

Our program is designed to provide you with a strong foundation of business principles and the right skills to help get the job you want after graduation.

Course Components

Course Description: This module will provide students with the computer skills needed to work in the business world. Students will build skills in keyboarding, internet use, and learn Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Course Description: This section will teach students about the forms of communications and the ethics of the business world.

Course Description: Students are introduced to marketing, and learn the various methods and software used in the business world. They will learn how to effectively market for a business, and the types of different strategies used for this.

Course Description: This module will introduce students to the world of Human resources and how to manage the department for a business.

Course Description: This sections gives students the accounting knowledge they will use once working within the field.

Course Description: Students learn how taxes work, and how to manage them for a business.

Course Description: This module teaches students how to prepare cost reports and and management the spending of a business,

Course Description: This is a group project students prepare together.

Course Description: Students learn how to start a business and manage it successfully.

Course Description: This section teaches students how to prepare their resume and how to present themselves to an employer.
